Clinical Associate Professor Sue Taylor is an experienced general surgeon with a special interest in Hernias and specialises in Bariatric Surgery.

She trained in Perth at Sir Charles Gairdner, Osborne Park, Royal Perth and Fremantle Hospitals. After gaining Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2001, she continued to serve the public hospital system, participating in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and supervision. She brings home broad experience in laparoscopic surgery and also in postgraduate and post-fellowship teaching skills. She established Western Surgical Health at Perth’s Hollywood Hospital with Professor Jeff Hamdorf in 2008 and consults with private and public patients. She has extensive experience with general surgery and has a special interest in laparoscopic surgery, including Hernia repairs, Appendicectomies and in Bariatric Surgery including adjustable Gastric Banding, Sleeve Gastrectomy and Hiatus Hernia repairs.
