
Clinical Associate Professor Lingjun Mou
Clinical Associate Professor Linjun Mou is a Consultant Surgeon specialising in Transplant Surgery (liver and kidney), Hepatobiliary Surgery and General Surgery. He is affiliated with the WA Liver and Kidney Surgical Transplant Service at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. He practices privately at The Liver Centre WA.
Professor Mou was trained at one of the top university hospitals in China. He moved to Perth in 2009 as a transplant fellow. He started his consultant position at SCGH in 2014 and obtained the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2016. In addition, he obtained a diploma in laparoscopic surgery from the University of Strasbourg in France, as well as a visiting fellowship to UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles.)
Professor Mou specialises in liver, gallbladder, spleen, hernia and other general surgeries including benign and malignant liver diseases, complicated liver surgeries and revision of gallbladder surgeries. He performs minimally invasive surgery for most of these cases. He received robotic surgery certification in 2015.
