
Dr Abraham Jacob
Dr Jacob graduated from medical school in UTAS with Honours in 2007. Following this he relocated to Melbourne where he trained in General Surgery at the Royal Melbourne Hospital gaining experience in general surgery including trauma and transplant surgery.
Dr Jacob was made a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2015. He underwent training in Colorectal Surgery through Colorectal Surgeons Society of Australia and New Zealand (CSSANZ) at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Adelaide and Fiona Stanley Hospital in Perth.
He has a particular interest in minimally invasive techniques in colorectal surgery. This includes laparoscopic surgery, transanal minimally invasive surgery (TAMIS) and robotic surgery. He also has an interest in pelvic floor disorders and has additional training for Sacral Nerve Modulation for faecal incontinence. Dr Jacob and his family moved from Melbourne to Perth after falling in love with its way of life.
