Dr Harmeet Aneja

Dr Harmeet Aneja is a specialist anaesthetist with a keen interest in Regional Anaesthesia based in Perth. He has completed a provisional fellowship in regional anaesthesia at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth in 2008 and the Post Graduate Certificate in Clinical Ultrasound from Melbourne University. In addition to regularly convening Australian Regional Anaesthesia and Cadaveric Ultrasound Seminars (ARACUS) at CTEC UWA, Dr Aneja has lectured and held workshops at various national and international conferences, including yearly ANZCA and ASA meetings. He is a faculty member for University of Melbourne point of care courses, Australian Symposium on Ultrasound and Regional Anaesthesia (ASURA) and the Sydney Ultrasound & Regional Anaesthesia Cadaveric Workshop (SURAC), Hands on Regional Anaesthesia Workshops at Royal Perth Hospital, Regional Anaesthesia Cadaver Course Singapore & Cadaveric Advanced Airway Workshop (CAAW) Singapore. His current interests include developing models of teaching advanced ultrasound guided regional anaesthesia and fiberoptic airway techniques on cadavers. He is also a member of Australian Society of Anaesthetists (ASA) & European Society of Regional Anaesthesia (ESRA).

In addition to his appointment at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital he has a busy private practice at Hollywood Private Hospital. His regular lists include Major Orthopaedic Surgery & Trauma, Musculoskeletal Tumour Surgery, Major Upper GI Surgery, Bariatric Surgery, Cardiac Electrophysiology, Neuro-Interventional Procedures & Emergency Surgery.
