Dr Lucy Dempster

Dr Dempster is a Specialist Anaesthetist based in Perth, WA. She has a keen interest in Regional Anaesthesia after completing her regional anaesthesia provisional fellowship at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in 2018. She went on to commence her public consultant appointment in 2019.
Dr Dempster has presented at various national and regional conferences on regional anaesthesia. She has run workshops for GP anaesthetists and registrars across WA. She enjoys teaching registrars and her consultant colleagues many different new and novel regional blocks. She is a regular anaesthetist with the Acute Pain Service at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and enjoys following up on post operative patients and auditing outcomes after regional anaesthesia.
In addition to regular orthopaedic and breast surgery lists, Dr Dempster also has a keen interest in obstetrics, neurosurgery and major sarcoma surgery. Her regular lists in private are sarcoma and orthopaedics.
Dr Dempster feels privileged to be working alongside Dr Bojan Bozic as Co-Convener of the 2020 Australian Regional Anaesthesia and Cadaveric Ultrasound Seminar (ARACUS) at CTEC UWA.
