Dr Susan Sharpe is an Emergency Medicine consultant and a Clinical Skills teacher at the Medical School at Notre Dame University in Fremantle.  She also teaches on the JDocs: Emergency Procedures workshop at CTEC, and in Adult and Paediatric Advanced Life Support courses nationally.

Dr Sharpe has also served in the Royal Australian Navy as a doctor in the Persian Gulf and at the Submarine and Underwater Medicine Unit in Western Australia, as well as in humanitarian work in Samoa and Tonga following the tsunami in 2009.  As well as medical teaching, she has interests in diving and hyperbaric medicine and disaster medicine. 

In June 2024 was awarded the status of CTEC Platinum Convenor in recognition of her outstanding contributions to CTEC's workshops in Emergency Medicine.
