A rare international opportunity

This fully subscribed cadaveric, ASPS endorsed workshop offered participants world class training in the latest advances in plastic reconstructive surgery in CTEC's world class large-scale surgical training laboratory. 

A post-Congress workshop for the Perth-based 1 to 3 May 2026 RACS Annual Scientific Congress, it featured the expertise of Professor Hong (South Korea) as International Expert Guest Faculty. 

Professor Hong is the President of the World Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery and Professor of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Ulsan College of Medicine and Asan Medical Centre. 

The workshop was convened by Perth based Specialist Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons Dr Sandeep B and Dr Alexandra O'Neill.

The workshop aimed to increase participant anatomical knowledge and the acquisition of technical skills in complex surgical approaches, nerve identification and the raising and use of flaps in plastic surgery.
