The CTEC Annual Report for 2020 is now available for viewing
In a year which proved to be unique due to the advent of the global COVID-19 pandemic, CTEC staff worked diligently to adapt the Centre's workshop and event schedule to minimise the impact of COVID border restrictions and workshop postponements and cancellations. After a disrupted June quarter, careful management of the pandemic by the Western Australian Goverment allowed CTEC to ease back into a return to activity in September, followed by a December quarter which was the busiest in CTEC's history.
Despite the significant challenges of 2020, CTEC held 87 medical and surgical workshops and trained almost 1300 medical professionals in a variety of specialties.
This report outlines information relating to CTEC workshops including workshop descriptions, workshop evaluations and sponsorship information. Feedback from participants relating to CTEC workshops was highly rated, with many expressing their gratitude for the opportunity for face-to-face training in a year of limited opportunities.
CTEC will continue to adapt and change to ensure it remains at the forefront of medical and surgical training for medical professionals.
