This interactive conference will cover a wide range of presentations aimed at doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals who wish to know more about PBM. 

 

Keynote Speaker

Adjunct Professor Dr Axel Hofmann
Chair, The International Foundation for Patient Blood Management, Switzerland

Adjunct Professor Hofmann will speak to: PBM: An International Update

Dr Hofmann holds a Doctor of Medical Science and a Masters degree in Economics.  His main activities are related to PBM research and the implementation of PBM programs in the public health sector and large hospital systems. With his background in health economics and outcomes research, he has specialised in the field of Patient Blood Management.  He has several academic affiliations in Europe and Australia, including as Adjunct Professor at both the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at The University of Western Australia and the Faculty of Health Sciences at Curtin University
