Generic Surgical Sciences Exam Training

About

This CTEC course is geared towards maximising knowledge for preparation for The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons' Generic Surgical Sciences Exam (GSSE). The GSSE Training Course will provide committed candidates with a thorough grounding to complement their own personal efforts in preparing for entry to surgical training.  It has been designed to improve knowledge, understanding and application of anatomy, physiology and pathology as it pertains to surgical training.  The interaction offered during this course will provide a valuable forum to exchange knowledge and ideas and offer perspectives unique to this area of medicine.
 

Accreditation

The GSSE Training Course has been Accredited by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.

 

Suitable for

Western Australian Junior Doctors and SET Trainee exam candidates will be considered upon application for entry to the course. Applicants must have current and valid medical registration with the Medical Board of Australia or Medical Council of New Zealand. Applications will be ranked and the top 20 candidates will be invited to attend. This course is not recommended for Interns.
