Cancellations and Transfers

  1. CTEC reserves the right to cancel the registration of any medical professional whose level of qualification and/or area of specialty does not match the criteria specified in the relevant CTEC workshop, course, symposia or event description. An administration fee of 15% of the workshop, course, symposia or event fee will apply.
  2. Full payment is required on registration.
  3. Cancellations by registrants advised in writing 30 days or more prior to the workshop, course, symposia or event date will be refunded in full, less an administration fee of 10% of the workshop, course, symposia or event fee.
  4. A refund will not be granted if a registrant cancels 29 days or less before the workshop, course, symposia or event date, or fails to attend.
  5. Cancellations due to illness, supported by a medical certificate will be refunded in full, less a 10% administration fee.
  6. A registrant may transfer between workshops, courses, symposia or events, to a maximum of two transfers. When a transfer is made to a different calendar year, any applicable CPI increase in fees will be payable by the registrant.
  7. CTEC reserves the right to cancel planned workshops, courses, symposia and events, even at short notice.
  8. In the event of cancellation by CTEC, all paid workshop, course, symposia or event fees will be refunded. This precludes any other claims.
  9. If a nominated presenter or facilitator is unable to attend a workshop, course, symposia or event then another presenter or facilitator will be engaged by CTEC.                       

Participants' Responsibility to CTEC

  1. Registrants must ensure that their level of qualification and/or area of specialty complies with the criteria specified in the relevant CTEC course, symposia or event description. See Cancellations and Transfers Clause 1 above.
  2. If requested, participants are to provide proof of professional status.
  3. Participants are to arrange own parking in accordance with UWA parking policy.
  4. CTEC will not be liable for loss of personal property or parking fines incurred.
  5. Participants agree to read and abide by all CTEC Health and Safety Guidelines provided.
