This new and unique CTEC cadaveric pilot workshop provides Urology SET Trainees with the opportunity to enhance their knowledge and technical skills in urgent open urological surgery.
Dates
In its inaugural year, this pilot program will focus solely on abdominal and ureteric surgery.
The workshop will feature an extensive program of hands-on procedural sessions utilising cadaveric specimens.
It provides a rare opportunity for participants to further their understanding of urgent open urological surgical techniques, and to improve confidence in procedural skills and operative anatomy in a supportive and safe environment.
This workshop will use a combination of pre-reading and promote dissection to further understanding of techniques for the urological patient.
